The Magi series of oil paintings find their inspiration in T.S. Eliot's poem - Journey of the Magi - which provides a starting point for the exploration of journeys we undertake in search of a better life, or a better self; an exploration of the emotional subtext in exile, departure, arrival and return, and the contemporary yet age-old issue of migration.
The images are accompanied by poetic re-imagingings penned by the artist.
Media: oil on canvas (51cmx51cm)
